Key Features Include:

• Solar Ring - White channel LEDs placed in a ring in the center of the fixture creates an independently controllable level of shimmer from the blue channels that compose the background light. With easy app control, this gives aquarists the ability to “dial up” the shimmer on demand.
• Solar Blue Spectrum - (marine light versions only) A new spectrum simulating light measured on a shallow tropical reef when all color channels are on in balance. Created in response to feedback from AI customers as well as leaders in coral growth and color, the Solar Blue Spectrum forms an incredible base, to use or customize as desired.
• Edgefield Optics - Designed by AquaIllumination for use on the AI Blade^TM lighting line and now part of the Hydra Edge, the Edgefield Optic design delivers superior color mixing and even PAR for beautiful output, superior efficiency and reduced shadowing. 
• Hyper Drive - Originally introduced in Hydra HD lights, Hyper Drive allows for selective power routing from LED channels not being utilized to LED channels where extra output is desired. This gives a greater spectral intensity and greater efficiency in using a particular light. 
• Dedicated Moonlight - A much loved feature. The Hydra Edge has an independent moonlight channel that delivers  2300K white “moon light” when enabled to simulate lunar conditions on the reef. 
• Bluetooth and App. Control-  Hydra Edge can be adjusted and programmed wirelessly via Bluetooth. Control is obtained by downloading the free and  powerful Mobius aquarium control app from the App store or from Google Play.
• MXM compatible. The Hydra Edge is compatible with Neptune Systems MXM module which allows for direct control using an Apex aquarium controller and the Fusion app.
